Aristarchus - 40 km wide, 3 km deep

Aristarchus is so bright that you can see on a clear night even when that side of the moon is dark (new moon to first quarter).  The Schroteri valley is to the northwest of Aristarchus.  It curves around towards Aristarchus and ends in the crater Herodotus.
