Messier and Messier A - 9 km wide
(click on photo for larger view, then click "Back")
Something struck here at a vey low angle (less than 15 degrees) coming in fast from the east. It struck to form Messier, then skipped a couple of kilometers before striking again to form Messier A. Both craters are elongated in the direction of the blow. Note the nice lava wrinkles near the shadow.
