Early on the morning of December 07, 2004, the planet Jupiter slipped behind the moon. These photos were taken 4 minutes apart. Jupiter reappeared about an hour later from the other side of the moon. An occultation of Jupiter won't happen again for several years. (The dark spot is Grimaldi, a 228 km wide crater.)
