Sinus Iridium - 260 km wide
Although its name sounds like a beach resort, Sinus Iridium has never seen a drop of water. This feature is what remains of a large crater that was flooded when the lava flowed in Mare Imbrium. The lava wrinkles almost look like waves flowing into the bay.
