Rupes Recta - 114 km

Near the eastern shore of the Sea of Clouds (Mare Nubium) lies a slope called Rupes Recta. The straight "cliff" resulted when the land to the west of the slope collapsed. When the morning sun is low you can see the shadow of the slope. This feature runs for 114 km north and south. It is about 300 meters above the lower ground.
